Our story

Alchemize is the brainchild of Stephen O'Brien. Having built, scaled, sold and exited several multi-million pound businesses over a diverse forty year career, Stephen decided it was time to use what he knows to help businesses and owners that need someone in their corner. Building on his own lived experience, he completed an internationally recognised Accredited Award in Coach Training (AACT) programme to support him in driving positive change for others, globally. 

What sets this approach aside is more than understanding and professional theory, it's decades of highs and lows across business and life that shape viewpoints, strategy, decision-making and outcomes. Stephen's life was not easy, but this isn't a sob story, far from it. This is a tale about being self motivated enough to cultivate an incredible career from limited means, growing something from nothing and using the challenges experienced from failures and successes to help shape transformation for others.
